Review - The Next Three Days
When system or law abandons you from justice
You should take law in your own hand and make a way of your own. --- Many movies are there on the same topic but I can guarantee you, none, not even a single one is like The Next Three Days - directed by Paul Haggis. It’s not old wine in new bottle, both the wine and the bottle is new and surprisingly bold in taste.
Films where we see the actor or the hero of the
film takes the law in his own hand it always seems so obvious. Cause they are
hero! they can take up any decisions - can shoot some one down - know how hide
some dead body. Because that is how a hero should be functioning. That’s how we
have been seeing.
Now this one,
this NEXT THREE DAYS gives goose bumps while every single mind-blowing
executions by the Mr. Brennnen ,played by Russel Crowe takes place.
A simple life leader, a simple community school teacher, does not know any
kind of marshal art or know how to fire a gun or how to be or act like
HERO (so called). He does know how to love his family, how to keep his family
together or make wife feel secure all the time, support her all the time.
He knows how to raise his kid, how to be a concern son also. A perfect family
man, a perfect trustworthy husband and a perfect father. He is not a hero.
Lets move on to Mrs. Brennen played by Elizabeth Banks she is the nearly perfect wife-mother and does not want to miss a single bid from enjoying her motherhood. one regular fine morning she suddenly observes red spot on her trench coat and being confused she tries to wash it off while getting ready for her office. At this moment police busted into their house accusing her for the murder for her boss and arrests her.you really didn't think that I gonna tell you the whole story did you?
We somehow have managed to pretend that movies are not the
real life. But I always have strongly differed form the notion, and The Next
Three Days has helped me rather supported me on this point.
Liam Neeson playing Damon, while advising John Brennan says - You ran out of money, you ran out of friends.
Hell yeah!! it is true! People with big mouths like - money does not buy you happiness, can transfer their excess unhappy money in my account. Willing ones are requested to refer to the "contact me" tab !!!
Anyway enough of pjs. Lets move on ...
In reality Youtube is a nice place to learn stuffs. Well I am using it form my high school. Wait a minute, I even learnt about blogging vide youtube. Now this Brennan fellow learns about magic key in youtube. He learns it, he makes one and that one has proven to be highly dysfunctional. Now is it possible?
People who believes -Life ain't like movies. Please do watch
this movie - you will get to know movies are selfie of LIFE.
I mean Mr. Brennan is a hero right? He learnt something to make from youtube how can it possibly go wrong! Well I tried to make a paper rose from DIY tutorial for my boyfriend once. Now assuming that rose to be a crushed paper my mother threw it in to the dustbin. Not a joke. Seriously!
This is Life! whom can you possibly blame. Every right thing have to go wrong at the right time.
Showcasing the time management and taking up decision at the 11th hour triggers a spine chilling thrill.
The depiction
of Big PLAN with the unbelievable acting and awe-inspiring cinematography will
keep you intrigued and tongue-tied.
Paul Haggis illustrates the beauty of life in a way of achieving goal and being failed time to time. He shows that determination and time management indeed is the key for success through effectively effortless acting. The massiveness of the depiction of struggle-life-love-connection of family members are an award for the audience.
The climax! Shhhhhhh... No words. You Just Need to feel the
FEEL...
It's a film that you should put in your wish list and watch
it whenever convenient after all Russel Crowe is in it. :)
