Dunkirk -2017 -Review

New released of Nolan Dunkirk!!! The event that shaped our world. 

Story was written by Nolan himself and focused on trapped soldier during World War 2. Dunkirk evacuation, code named operation dynamo, was the evacuation of allied soldiers from the harbor of Dunkirk. The allied power consisted of British, French, Belgium and Canadian troops. They were surrounded at Dunkirk by German troops during the battle of France. 

During the evacuation several ‘destroyers’, ‘aircrafts’ and soldiers lives were destroyed. With the help of civilian boats and British Air Force nearly 300000 soldier was rescued from Dunkirk.  It was a turning point for allied.

The film contains 3 parts – “the mole”, “the see” and “the sky” and ends with the Churchill 's iconic on the beaches speech.

The story of the mole shows us how patiently the soldiers waited to be rescued or to surrender to the enemy. 

The story of the sea - shows us why the on screen Kenneth branagh while looking through the Binocular says “home”. Yes the story of the sea portrays the brutally of Nazi aircraft, scream of the soldiers and the glorious evacuation made by civilians boats. 

The story of the sky has shown, how gloriously British Air Force has fought. Functioned as a guardian of a family they guarded the sea and the mole during the evacuation. In this case Tom Hardy has shown his ability of superb acting. 

In the first half the 3 part “the sky”, “the see”, “the moon” seems to be three different part of story. But in the second half we see that the parts are connected and represents the story the spine chilling nightmare of Dunkirk. 

The acting of James D'Arcy, Mark Rylance and Kenneth Branagh and surprisingly also Harry Styles is awe- inspiring. They made it look like natural.

  

Tom Hardy plays a less physical and more expressional role. Hen once again proves his extraordinary acting capability .

The one person, who will get stick to your mind even hours after watching the film, is Cillian Murphy. Yes, the guy from the Inception, and Batman that guy plays a shivering soldier who is terrified by the cruelty of war of France. 

Characters played by Aneurin Bernard and Fionn Whitehead, shows informal staggering relation between two fellow soldiers. Acting of the both actor is spectacular. 

Give them Oscar already!! All of them..

If it was not Nolan, then the story would end up like a documentary. As it is Christopher Nolan behind the cameras behind the creation  it ended up linking “the mole”, “the sky”, “the sea”, emotions - like regret, brutality, crying, never the less- "home" everything even the glorious mess of a war, glorious mess of warhead nations got linked up due to the direction of Nolan. Every second every moment makes you stick to the screen. 

Hope that in 2018 Oscars Nolan will bag several Oscars to HOME.

The movie duration maybe less but shows us more. So it's quite difficult to put everything in words. It's your turn now, watch the movie cause it is a must watch and also after all it is a Nolan and let us know your views about the movie.
